COVID-19 PROTOCOLS AND PRECAUTIONS
Steps to Minimize the Risk of Covid-19
At Bay Area Janitorial, our customers’ and staff’s health is paramount. We are taking the following steps to minimize the risk of COVID19 for all parties while working in your home or office:
-
Personal health monitoring - our staff conducts daily symptom screening and temperature checks, and will not come to work if exhibiting any symptoms of COVID19. We also request that homeowners and/or office workers inform us if anyone in the household is exhibiting symptoms or has tested positive for COVID19, so we can reschedule your cleaning after the appropriate amount of time has elapsed
-
Face coverings are required for the entirety of a house cleaning - our house and office cleaners correctly wear face coverings while cleaning and change face coverings between locations. We also request homeowners and office workers wear face coverings if they must be present while we work.
-
Frequent hand washing and sanitizing - our cleaners wash their hands for 20 seconds with soap and water before starting to clean your home or office. They also carry personal hand sanitizer to use when sinks are inaccessible and between locations.
-
Maintaining physical distancing - our house and office cleaners will maintain the maximum possible distance from the homeowner or employees, if you must be present while we are cleaning
-
Proper ventilation - our team will open windows, where possible, to improve ventilation while cleaning your home or office
-
Sanitizing supplies and equipment - all cleaning supplies and equipment are sanitized between locations and in between uses if items must be shared by team members
-
Sanitize high touch surfaces - our house and office cleaners will wipe down and sanitize high touch surfaces, like light switches and door knobs, before entering and after exiting a room, your offices or your home
